Larry King is set to host a two-hour “two-screen” telethon to raise money for the victims of the Gulf Of Mexico oil spill.
The telethon called Disaster in the Gulf: How You Can Help will air on June 21st @ 8PM EDT and will offer a wide range of guest stars including Lenny Kravitz, Justin Bieber, Chelsea Handler, Ryan Seacrest, Kathy Griffin, Cameron Diaz, Ian Somerhalder, and Jenny McCarthy among others.
Funds raised from the telethon will be given to the United Way, The National Wildlife Federation and The Nature Conservancy, all groups which have set out to help people and animals hurt by the oil spill.
The program is being called a “Second Screen” program because Ryan Seacrest will host a second aspect in which viewers can participate over popular social networks including Facebook and Twitter.
