After staying away from the Hollywood limelight for two years, Kirsten Dunst made a red carpet comeback on Friday. She attended the Tribeca Film Festival in New York for the premiere of the movie, Between The Lines.
The 27-year-old actress made her directorial debut this year with her short film, Bastard. The film screened with six other short films in the Between the Lines shorts program.
It’s good to see Kirsten with a more positive attitude after her bout with depression. She entered the Cirque Lodge, a rehab centre in Utah last year after attempting to conquer the condition on her own for six months.
“I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse,” she told OK! magazine. “I went there for depression… I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it.”
