Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides may not welcome Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards to the set after his memoir was released and “revealed” his past history with drugs. Richards was amazing as Captain Teague, the father of Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) in the last two Pirate’s movies.
The memoir titled Life chronicle’s Richards and his drug fueled past over the last 50 years with the Rolling Stones.
The memoir talks about taking dope and even suggests that by watching the quality and quantity of drugs he consumed he was able to stay healthy.
At one section he writes:
“It’s not only the high quality of drugs I had that I attribute my survival to. I was very meticulous about how much I took. I’d never put more in to get a little higher. That’s where most people fuck up on drugs.”
Seriously Disney? You didn’t realize with all the rumors and direct evidence that Keith Richards did a lot of drugs (in moderate quantities apparently) over his nearly half a century run as a Rock & Roll superstar?
