Jessica Alba is one of those mamas that go beyond hot. While I have never been particularly into her, her steel underneath sultry looks stand out. The actress, who also doubles as a wife and mom, has branched out into other endeavors. Recently, she launched her own business called The Honest Company. The idea is not new – there is a host of other companies in the same niche – but it seems to be a passion for Alba.
The Honest Company aims to deliver family products that are natural and safe. At the same time, it offers personalized service. It works by asking some questions of the consumer first in order to customize products that will be sent to your doorsteps on a monthly basis. No, I haven’t tried it, but it seems to be going well for the actress turned entrepreneur.
Now, Jessica Alba can add a new title to her growing list: author!
Again, celebrities writing their own books is definitely not something to be surprised about. Everyone can publish a book in their name. That’s what ghost writers are for, yes?
We may never know if Jessica Alba used a ghost writer for this book project, but she is rather excited about it. Titled “The Honest Life”, the book is all about giving other homemakers tips that will contribute to a healthy, non-toxic home life. It contains practical advice ranging from design to best practices to recipes.
Look out for the book early next year, and judge for yourself if Alba is a better writer than she is an actress.
