Jason Davis left jail last night after posting a $20,000 bond.
After his release Davis released a statement in which he blamed members of his family for putting him behind bars.
According to Davis:
“I am shocked that my family would once again alert the police, and media, about a personal family matter simply to promote their own public image. You don’t see Charlie Sheen’s family calling the cops on him.”
Sources close to Davis’ family, they were worried about him and only called 911 so someone could go to his home and check up on him, once their they discovered drugs on his person and he was arrested.
Davis goes on to claim that his family may have planted the drugs in his home, saying “Authorities are investigating whether a certain family member planted the drugs in my home.”
I guess his excuse is at least better than Paris Hilton and her “I though it was gum” cocaine defense.
