James Franco showed up on Live! With Kelly and Michael to talk about the recent brouhaha.
The actor allegedly pursued Scottish tourist Lucy Clode, whose conversations were shown on her now-erased Instagram profile.
“I guess I’m just a model of how social media is tricky. It’s a way people meet each other today… You don’t know who’s on the other end,” says Franco.
“I used bad judgment and I learned my lesson.”
The 35-year-old actor reportedly met the 17-year-old girl outside the Broadway theater where he performs Of Mice and Men in.
However, others are skeptical since this might be a stunt for his upcoming movie, Palo Alto, which also has him tackling an underage relationship with Emma Roberts‘ character.
