Young ‘Anakin Skywalker,’ or Jake Lloyd in real life, was arrested last Wednesday after he trailed cops in South Carolina for a wild goose chase. He now faces charges of reckless driving, driving without a license, failing to stop for a blue light, and resisting arrest. [That’s a lot!]
Due to face court in July, Lloyd was put behind bars under the name Jake Broadbent. The authorities who detained him, from Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, said that the chase reached two counties.
“On Wednesday afternoon, around 1:30 p.m., we received a call from the Charleston County office…we were told a car had crossed over county lines into our county, Colleton County. The car was speeding and passed over double yellow lines. We were able to find the car that matched the description and the chase ensued,” a spokesperson tells E! News.
