They’ve played spouses (Brokeback Mountain) and lovers (Love & Other Drugs), now they get naked.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway pose nude for the newest edition of Entertainment Weekly and the photoshoot appears to have been pretty silly with the pair appearing at least to have had a great time.
According to Hathaway she “totally fell apart” when she first had to get naked in front of Gyllenhaal and the camera crew on the set of Love & Other Drugs, but she says that she eventually got a hang of it and even got naked once just for fun.
Okay so that last naked part was just Hathaway telling a joke:
“On the day I shot the scene where I have to remove my trench coat and be nude underneath I thought we were filming, but it turned out we were just rehearsing and I got unnecessarily naked in front of a lot of people, but hey, I just did my job.”
She went on to say:
“Jake and I were in this amazing take, and he turned and caught the sheet and pulled it off me,” she says. “And I wasn’t going to yell ‘Cut.’ I just thought, ‘Go with it, Hathaway. If it was theatre, you would go with it.’ And I did. And of course that is the take that is in the movie.”
