Hello Kitty is everywhere from band-aids and board games to bath soaps and even cell phones, heck we even hear she actually has a cartoon floating out there somewhere, but now she’s taken herself somewhere you wouldn’t expect to see her, motor oil.
Yes you heard me correctly, the cuddly kitty is now featured on a can of Japanese motor oil. The oil, a synthetic mixture is meant for use in compact cars and retails for a cost of $33.
Now I’m all for endorsements if they actually make sense to the character, what I’m not for is watching as Hello Kitty pink washes the world with her likeliness. Heck even my 25 year old wife has hello kitty shirts and pajamas! When will the madness stop…please someone tell me….
It should be noted that while the oil was designed for compact cars its a standard SAE 5W-30 and should be safe for vehicles of any size.
Are you as sick of Hello Kitty endorsements as I am? Let me know.
