Stop the presses: Hayden Panettiere has just announced her engagement to boxer Wladimir Klitschko!
The Nashville star spilled the beans this Wednesday to “Live With Kelly & Michael” host Kelly Ripa, where she affirmed the latter’s curiosity while holding a snake.
“I’m not sure if you want to announce anything. Does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?,” Ripa asks.
Hayden plays coy initially with “It might be. I mean, I think it speaks for itself,” but when asked directly if she’s engaged, she ended everyone’s doubt with “I am.”
Rumors of an impending marriage already surfaced when the former Heroes actress wore the ring to the LAX airport.
Hayden, 24, and Wladimir, 37, first met in 2009 during a book party, and have been together ever since, albeit an on-and-off affair. As she states to Glamour, “It’s like the 2.0 version.”
The announcement comes just a few days after Klitschko defended his world boxing titles against Alexander Povetkin in Moscow.
