Dr. Nat Strand and Dr. Kat Chang became the first female/female team to win the reality TV competition known as The Amazing Race. The pair won the competition during the 17th season of the popular globe-trotting TV series.
The team won by crossing the finish line in Los Angeles after receive their final clue from Newlywed Game host Bob Eubanks. When all was said and done they crossed 4 continents, passed through 30 different cities and traveled a total of 32,000 miles.
Another female pair, Home Shopping Networks own Brooke Roberts and Claire Champlin came in second place.
The winning pair received $1 million.
