With her marriage to Brandon Blackstock this Sunday, we can only guess that Kelly Clarkson couldn’t “catch her breath”!
The American Idol alum is now married to the talent manager, whom she was engaged to for a year, thanks to a simple wedding that took place at a vast space of lush greenery in Walland, Tennessee.
“I’m officially Mrs. Blackstock 🙂 We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever,” the singer tweets.
Supposedly, the initial plan was to have a big celebration last October, but the duo opted for something more subdued instead.
E! News reported that the hitmaker walked down the aisle wearing Temperley Bridal’s “Jessamine” dress from the Iris Collection. Completing the elegant look is a Maria Elena Headpieces headband, together with a bouquet of sunflowers and Bluebonnets.
The couple first met in 2006, during rehearsals for the CMAs, where they’ll begin dating some years later. It all led to a proposal in December 2012, with Blackstock giving our dame a ring he co-designed with Johnathon Arndt.
