Last month, British Conservative Party leader David Cameron lashed out at popstar Lily Allen.
He told the press that he thinks her music is unsuitable for his 6-year-old daughter and he would rather that she listens to The Jungle Book.
“I got one of those [iPod] connections for the car and my daughter is obsessed by Lily Allen, who I think is slightly unsuitable,” he admitted. “So a bit of a fight takes place. ‘I want to listen to Lily Allen.’ ‘No, it’s The Jungle Book.’ And in the tussle [the connector] broke.”
The 24-year-old popstar didn’t let the politician throw his punches without fighting back. Lily tweeted: “Thinking of calling the National Bullying Helpline. I’ll call ChildLine instead. I’ve heard he only lets his kids listen to the Arctic Monkeys.”
Then at her concert at the O2 Arena last night, she dedicated her song F**k You to David Cameron.
