Don’t worry, it’s just a temporary tattoo!
According to Access Hollywood, Dakota Fanning met LA Ink’s Kat Von D, whom the actress is a huge fan of. The two met at George Lopez’s talk show Lopez Night on Tuesday, and Kat took Dakota backstage to draw—what else—a cherry bomb tattoo on the actress’ right arm.
Dakota promised her mom she would never get the real thing. “When I was like 11, [my mom] made me sign a contract and it says, ‘I will not ever get a tattoo,’ and it’s like the little X and a line and I had to sign my name,” Dakota said.
But the 16-year-old did love the temporary tattoo—which is an ode to her role as rock legend Cherie Currie, whom she portrays in The Runaways.
