Christopher Tierney, a stuntman for Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark who fell 30 feet into a pit this week will spend Christmas in the ICU as he recovers from a broken elbow, broken ribs and a cracked skull.
Tierney’s dad told TMZ that the family has shuffled around their plans so they can be with him at the NYC hospital where he is staying.
While he’s recovering from various injuries, his dad says he wants to get back to work:
“[Chris] cannot wait to get back into the Spidey costume … It wont be as soon as he would like but … his spirits are high and he cannot wait to get back.”
Chris will remain in the ICU until Monday at which point he’ll be moved to rehab.
