When Chris Hemsworth isn’t too busy saving the world in the Thor films, he’s out there…crash dieting?
You heard it here, fans! Liam’s older bro is adamant in dropping those pounds as part of his preparation on the upcoming Ron Howard film, Heart of the Sea.
Hemsworth stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to promote his latest film, Thor: The Dark World, but it seems that the interest has turned towards his thinner countenance.
“[‘Heart of the Sea’] is the true events that inspired Herman Melville to write ‘Moby Dick,'” the 30-year-old actor shares to Kimmel about the project, as reported by Huffington Post.
He humors, “…Basically the begin to die and eat each other — a romantic comedy. And we have to get rather skinny. So we’re on 500 or 600 calories a day.”
We had no idea how the regimen would go, until the hottie told a very unfortunate tale.
“It ends up being a couple of small salads, a couple of small pieces of protein and that’s kind of it and you go to bed hungry. And then you have like a fasting period of 15 hours, like you stop eating completely, and then you have little meals through the day.”
Not our kind of meal.
