It looks like Captain America himself, Chris Evans, is serious about retiring.
“If I’m acting at all, it’s going to be under Marvel contract, or I’m going to be directing,” Chris tells Variety magazine.
Currently, the actor has a six-picture deal with Marvel. Three of those have been produced, such as the two Captain films and The Avengers.
“Without these movies, I wouldn’t be directing. They gave me enough overseas recognition to greenlight a movie,” he says.
Evans recently finished directing the indie film “1:30 Train.”
