Oh no he didn’t! Who would’ve thought that it would come to this? R&B singer Chris Brown makes a desperate plea to his fans to help him sell albums.
He posted a message on SayNow.com, a website where celebrities can record messages for their fans. In Chris Brown’s post, he asks fans to help bring him back to the airwaves because a lot of radio stations aren’t playing his records. Listen to the audio recording here:
According to Hip Hop Crunch, the singer is still feeling the effects of public backlash from last year’s violence issue with Rihanna. He was arrested and sentenced to community service and five years of probation for felony assault against his then girlfriend, following a domestic violence complaint.
“I don’t know what else to say,” he said. “It’s nothing else that I can do. I’m doing everything that I need to do. I’m doing me as a person and I’m a better guy. It’s on ya’ll.”
Chris Brown is undeniably one talented singer/performer, but this just goes to show that when you’re a famous person who beat up your lady, the whole world won’t forget. Let’s just hope that they forgive.
