British singer Cheryl Cole has signed a one season deal worth $4 million. The songstress will judge X Factor America alongside fellow brit Simon Cowell. Cole already judges with Cowell on his hit show UK X Factor.
Fox executives confirmed Cole’s new deal and a source told The Sun:
“The execs love her good looks and the way she wears her heart on her sleeve.”
Another judge rumor includes Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger, although Fox executives have yet to confirm that rumor.
Production on X Factor America begins Summer 2011.
