Cesar Millan, best known for his show “Dog Whisper” and his wife of 16 years are calling it quits.
According to TMZ Millan’s wife filed for divorce in a Los Angeles court on Friday and she is seeking custody of the couples two children Andrew and Calvin along with spousal support.
Cesar’s website released an official statement about the divorce:
“We are sad to announce that after 16 years of marriage we have decided to file for divorce,” and “The decision was made after much consideration and time. We remain caring friends, and are fully committed to the co-parenting of our two boys.”
Cesar came to the United States as an illegal immigrant and skyrocketed to fame thanks to his ability to understand and train dogs. He got his big break when Jada Pinkett and Will Smith hired him to work with their troubled dogs and then spread word of his talents to family friends. The Smith’s developed a relationship with Cesar and even paid for him to learn better English.
