Another celebrity has been rumored dead and this time, it’s Celine Dion. What has the world come to!?
Last Saturday, November 9, avid fans of the Canadian singer were in confusion as to her death rumors that plagued Facebook.
The links, which were taken down, claims that Dion “lost control while driving a friend’s vehicle”, whereas another says that it was caused by a plane crash.
The fakery even reached Celine herself — apparently alive and kicking — who was terribly upset about the false reports.
“Sometimes it’s freaky because I have to call my family about it,” the “All By Myself” diva shares to Digital Spy.
“I was celebrating the birthday of my twins in Montreal and I was getting these phone calls saying there was stuff on Facebook that I was dead.”
Dion added that it makes her “mad”, especially thinking about her 86-year-old mom who had to bear the news.
