The 37-year old actress became a first time mom when she gave birth to her daughter Olive in October of 2012. She and her husband Will Kopelman were able to enjoy considerable privacy from the public’s eye when they welcomed their daughter. Barrymore is not inclined to favor an acting career for her daughter.
Adele
Adele gave birth to her first child with Simon Konecki who has one child from a previous marriage. The 24-year old multi-awarded singer has been singing lullabies since October of 2012. No marriage talks are in the offing yet though.
Claire Danes
The 33-year old actress gave birth to her first child in December 2012. Danes and her husband Hugh Dancy welcomed their son Cyrus. Their son is a very welcome addition to the couple’s life having been married for three years already.
Sara Rue
The 34-year old star of “Malibu Country” gave birth to her first child in February 2013. She has been married to Kevin Price since 2011. The couple named their child Talulah.
Holly Madison
The 33 year-old former Playboy model gave birth to her first child last March 5. She is reportedly contemplating on turning her placenta into pills for faster recovery. Madison drew infamy for dating Hugh Hefner for seven years.
Mother’s Day is always a special day whether one is a celebrity or not or whether motherhood is a new experience or not. The only difference probably of being in the limelight is that every action of a celebrity mom comes under close scrutiny while non-celebrity moms get to do their mothering in utmost privacy.
Like any other mothers though, celebrity moms expect to be a treated a little more special on Mother’s Day. The most common tradition is giving mothers time off for some relaxation time and gifting them with the most suitable items they can appreciate. Flowers has been an enduring gift choice for ages. In fact, there is rarely an occasion that doesn’t call for flowers.
