Actress Shannen Doherty is grieving the loss of her father who passed away on Friday.
According to PopCrunch, John Thomas Doherty suffered a stroke outside his Los Angeles home on Friday. Doherty was very close to her father and even braved what she called two left feet to dance on Dancing With The Stars to honor him.
Her dad was battling health issues during her one week stay on DWTS, but she considered it a success since he could be there in the audience cheering her on.
When asked whey she was on the show she simply stated:
“I did it for my dad.”
During a Sunday statement Doherty said that her father was the “greatest man in the world.”
“I love him with every inch of my being and cannot imagine life without him.”
