Beliebers and haters alike have something to mull over the holidays: Justin Bieber is retiring. But… is it real?!
The pop music sensation is declaring this bold move on an interview with Los Angeles radio station Power 106, while promoting his upcoming album, “Journals”.
“After the new album, I’m actually retiring, man. I’m retiring,” the Biebs announces.
“I want to grow as an artist and I’m taking a step out, I want my music to mature,” he goes on.
Well, we’re not entirely convinced about this so-called ‘shocker’, since he’s in the middle of promos for the CD and the Believe concert flick.
MTV News went on to verify this (Justin might only be high then), but it seems like the decision is more in line with taking a break.
“I wanna get to know my family more. I’ve been away so much, I’ve missed a lot of great years with my brother and sister.”
If that’s the case, then more power to you, Justin.
