As much as we like to joke and have fun here at Celebrific, there are times where it is hard for us to come up with something funny. This is always the case when someone we cherished so much passes away. Yesterday, Brittany Murphy was found dead in her shower by her mother. The apparent cause was a cardiac arrest.
Now Murphy wasn’t a megastar, but whenever she was in a movie it was rare that she didn’t steal the spotlight. Clueless was good because we could all relate to the awkward role that Murphy played. 8 Mile she became the girl we all wanted and the one we all hated for deceiving us and then the one we forgave even after all the bad things. If you have never seen Don’t Say A Word you are missing out on one of the great underrated dramas of this decade.
As much as we can look down at stars for the money and fame they get to have that we only get to dream of, it piles on and the pressure can sometimes be too much. We wish the world didn’t have to experience such things, but it is part of life and in these times all we can do is remember the good and Brittany had a ton of good.
