We all couldn’t wait ’til Britney Spears takes the Las Vegas stage, so she’s teasing us with a few more confessions!
E! just aired a special — “I Am Britney Jean” — that peers into the preparation of the pop princess for her upcoming two-year residency at the City of Lights … with some confessions in between.
“I’m not built for this industry because I am so shy,” says Brit regarding fame.
“There was a time in my life when I couldn’t ever leave the house without 20 cars following me…I felt very alienated from the public,” the singer adds. “But as time passed, they lightened up and they kind of went away after I wouldn’t come out of the house for like two years.”
The “Work B**ch” songstress has also learned to brush off harsh opinions, especially those that abound the Internet.
“…I realized ‘Oh my god, there’s like a lot of mean things on the Internet.’ But after, the naiveté in the whole thing was kind of brilliant because it was like you can’t really control what people think, so you can’t really worry about what people think and that attitude really is the one to have,” she said.
Spears even shares some details about her new BF, David Lucado, whom she describes as “simple”, “funny”, and “passionate”, and what she thinks about doing the deed.
“I love sex. I think sex is great. But I feel a little different about it now that I’m older. Sometimes I feel like I’m 20 and then sometimes I feel like I’m 50.”
