The extremely gorgeous Blake Lively has been named the newest face of French fashion house Chanel. Reportedly Lively impressed the company’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld because of her “style-forward approach to fashion.”
Lively, best known for her starring role on Gossip Girl shares a close friendship to Lagerfeld, who helped launch the career of Claudia Schiffer, he also made an appearance on Gossip Girl earlier this past season.
Lively’s first appearance for the fashion house will be in a new campaign touting Chanel’s tony handbag collection, she was in Paris last week for that ads photo shoot.
