Adam Jasinski, a former winner on the CBS television series Big Brother has been sentenced to 4 years in federal prison. Jasinski was found guilty of using prize money from the show to mastermind and fund a prescription drug ring.
You may recall that Jasinski was busted in 2009 when he attempted to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to a government informant.
Rather than going through a lengthy court battle, Jasinski this week plead guilty on drug possession charges with intention to distribute, he also plead guilty for failure to file a 2008 tax return, the same year in which he won his $500,000 Big Brother prize.
Seriously, when will game show winners, especially of the Reality TV sort, begin to realize that they can’t just keep all the money they win, although this case seems much more twisted than Survivor winner Richard Hatches failure to file after winning $1 million during the first season of that show.
Come to think about it, it’s always the CBS reality TV stars that end up in really big trouble.
