Charlie Sheen Plea Deal “Hits A Snag”

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen has agreed to a plea deal over a Christmas Day assault of his wife Brooke Mueller, unfortunately for Sheen that plea deal, set to move forward today has been pushed forward to July 12 according to TMZ.

Sheen was charged with felony menacing and two misdemeanors (3rd degree assault and criminal mischief) when his wife called 911 after a fight erupted between the couple. Menacing is a felony charge that carries a one to three year prison charge.

Amber Riley, known for her role as Mercedes Jones on the Emmy award winning show Glee was rejected by American Idol producers when auditioning for the popular TV talent show.

Extra TV spoke with Idol Judge Randy Jackson who said he never had the opportunity to see Mercedes Jones audition, apparently because the top notch singer gave a rather uninspired audition during the first round of producer monitored auditions.

Gary Coleman Funeral Delayed

One-time child star Gary Coleman was suppose to be laid to rest this weekend, now we’ve come to learn that those plans have been post-poned as different factions of his family and former family feud over what to do with his body.

The battle is specifically focusing on a fight between Coleman’s ex-wife and his long-estranged parents

Victor Perillo, Coleman’s former manager said his parents are the legal custodians for his body since he divorced his ex-wife Shannon Price in 2008. Coleman hadn’t spoken with his sleeze ball parents since they stole all his money as a child, it had been 21 years since they last spoke. MTV’s Real World Returns To The Big Easy [Trailer]

The Real World is making it’s second trip to the Big Easy starting June 30th and a new trailer has been released.

MTV will show 12 episode for the season being called The Real World: New Orleans 2 which like seasons before it follow the lives of nearly brain dead young adults. It’s the first time since Season 9 that The Real World is returning to the city.

According to PopCrunch executive producer Jon Murray says of the new seasion:

“We are delighted to be returning to New Orleans for the 24th season of ‘The Real World,’” adding “Hurricane Katrina threw New Orleans for a punch, but the city is coming back and we’re hoping our cast members and the series can play a small role in the city’s rebirth.”

This season sure seems to look a bit more creepy than seasons past, I haven’t watched in years but I might check it out just to see why all the characters seem so disturbed.
