Celebrities, watch out! Everybody has a camera these days, so try not to end up too drunk on a Friday night or you’ll end up as the next Internet video spam.

Actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. was a having such a good time drinking with his friends in Spokane, Washington that he took center stage and gave this intoxicated speech at the bar.

It’s as if he was running for office with this God-bless-America type of speech. One minute he was slurring movie lines and another minute he was paying tribute to… firefighters? Oh, who cares what his point was. The other ‘fellas at the bar loved every word of it. Cheers!

Amanda Seyfried’s Red Carpet “Boo-boo”

Stylists are quite inventive. They get away with changing the rules of fashion. Having worked for fashion magazines in the past, I myself have done the unthinkable. We can turn tube tops into skirts. We have asked models to wear ruffled skirts as tops. An oversized t-shirt can be transformed into a belted dress. The possibilities are endless!


Why is it that when a celebrity or normal person does the same thing, people give her flack for doing so? At a red carpet premiere on Monday, Amanda Seyfried decided to experiment with a dress from the Bodamyr Fall 2010 collection by wearing it backwards with the zipper facing forward.

A lot of fashion websites have given this move their thumbs down. Red Carpet Fashion Awards commented, “We ask for celebs to be more inventive on the red carpet, but this isn’t what I had in mind.”

Amanda wasn’t the first celebrity to wear a red carpet dress “the wrong way.” Remember Angelina Jolie’s Max Azria dress that she wore to the 2009 SAG Awards? She wore it backwards to keep the plunging neckline at the back, while the more conservative part covers her bosom. Critics commented that she should’ve shown off her cleavage instead.

If celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe pulled this off, I believe fashionista wannabes would be scrambling to do the same thing. What if it were the editors at Vogue who asked Amanda to wear the dress the wrong way and piled up some rockstar bling to label the look “rebellious?”

Sometimes it’s just a matter of how we look at things [and people].

Nick Jonas Goes From Rockstar To Employee

His Hollywood career went sour overnight, so he became a retail salesman to help pay for his luxurious lifestyle.

Kidding! Nick Jonas played a prank for CBS’s gag show, I Get That A Lot. It features celebrities fooling normal people in a case of supposed mistaken identity. They pretend to working ordinary jobs, while confusing customers who can’t decide if he/she is really the actual celebrity or an astonishing look-alike, hence the line, “I get that a lot!”

For the latest episode, Nick dressed up as a nerdy employee of retail store Forever 21. The episode was shot on Monday afternoon at an LA branch of the store. After repeatedly denying that he is 1/3 of the famous Jonas Brothers, Nick finally took off his geeky glasses and greeted his fans outside after they wrapped up the shoot.

Good one, Nick! Now you know why he’s my favorite Jonas.

She showed up on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno sporting a shorter hairstyle. Heidi Klum’s explanation? “I got bored,” she told Jay. “I grow it; I cut it. Some people never change their hair and it works for them. For me, I get bored.”

Bobs and short crops are all the rage this spring. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Carey Mulligan are among the Hollywood stars who are sporting shorter and breezier ‘dos lately.

Although Heidi looked hot when she had a longer mane, this shorter hairstyle seems more age-appropriate, especially now that the 36-year-old is busy raising her kids with her hubby Seal.

Kim Is The Cat’s Meow

The thing about being a celebrity is that people criticize everything that you do—and I mean everything! Kim Kardashian was being her usual celebrity self when she posted this photo on Twitpic on Monday:

The caption read: “Pic from my shoot yesterday…good kitty cat!”

What followed was a barrage of negative comments from people who think that she was hurting the cat with the way she was holding it.

Kim quickly defended herself on her blog by saying, “I have been getting negative comments regarding the way I was holding the kitty, but rest assured, the owner and vet were on set and showed me how to pick him up. The cat was not harmed in any way and is perfectly fine! I love animals and would never do anything to harm any animals.”

PETA begged to differ. “Kim Kardashian isn’t the only person who mistakenly thinks that because a mother cat picks up her kittens by the scruff of the neck that a supportive hand under the rump isn’t needed,” they said in a statement. “But I’ll bet plenty of fans have let her know—nicely, we hope!” they added.

Now we know how to pick up a cat.
