The Disney star finally graduated from high school and is on her way to college. With the High School Musical franchise finally behind her, Ashley Tisdale signed up for CW’s new series, Hellcats.
Hellcats stars Aly Michalka as Marti, a college student who joins the campus’ competitive cheerleading team (the Hellcats) after losing her scholarship. Tisdale plays Sierra, the Hellcat’s captain and Marti’s roommate.
Ashley excitedly announced this new project on her website. She also mentioned that she’s been meeting with Blonde Girl Productions to create reality TV shows—“none of which I’m in, just producing,” she was quick to add.
“I leave for Vancouver soon to shoot Hellcats but will always update you on my Twitter page,” Ashley wrote. “Thanks for all the support. I couldn’t do what I love to do without you guys.”
