On Friday ABCs Good Morning America showed the second of a two-part interview with Angelina Jolie. This time around, the Good Shepherd actress joined her co-star Matt Damon on the set.Â
Diane Sawyer cut to the chase in the very beginning by asking Jolie, who plays Damon’s wife in the film, difference between kissing boyfriend Brad Pitt & co-star Matt Damon. You know, I don’t think I can think of a more stupid question…
Angelina responded by saying,  “You know, one’s a friend, and one’s my love.” Yep, that’s pretty much what most of us would have said, Diane.
Sawyer then asked both actors what it was like to be in intimate scenes together, since Pitt, Jolie, Damon & his wife Luciana Bozan are fairly close friends.  “How do you do a love scene with the girlfriend of your good friend, especially if they’re Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt,” Diane asked.
“It’s weird…We all know each other…” Damon responded.
“In reality both the people we’re involved with couldn’t have cared less about that because they know us. You know, it’s one of those things where it’s like the least threatening person…You know, ‘Good luck to you guys, I hope it’s not too awkward,'” Jolie added.
Then the question of marriage between Angelina & Brad came up in the interview, as it always seems to do. But Damon, who recently wed live-in girlfriend Luciana Bozan, chimed in to say that marriage really did change their relationship.
“It had more of an impact on me than I thought it would,” Damon stated.
“We already had the house in Florida and everything, and so I didn’t. … I didn’t think it was going to really change anything necessarily, but it actually did.”
I wonder, does Matt mean for the good or the bad?
Diane later brought up the quote Brad Pitt recently said, you remember the one about the fact that he’s not getting hitched until everyone is able to. Here it is to jog that memory of yours, “Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.â€
Sawyer asked Jolie what Pitt was thinking with this quote to which Jolie replied, “I think he was … he was commenting just on the state of [what] we all wish for.”
“That’s not really a comment on whether or not we would or if we plan to.”
Which basically translates to, “I did not authorize or vouch for what Brad stated. He was suppoed to follow the scipt I give him for each interview, but he got a little impassioned, damn him.”
What do you think- Will Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt ever tie the knot?
