…And it’s about time! Andrea Bocelli was honored with a star at Hollywood’s Walk of Fame yesterday and he celebrated the momentous event with his fiancée Veronica Berti and other friends and loved ones.
The 51-year-old Italian tenor was born in Tuscany and has had eyesight problems since birth. He lost his eyesight completely at 12 during a soccer game accident. Despite his blindness, he finished law school and pursued his passion for singing.
He has recorded a number of chart-topping albums through the decades and has performed with big names in the opera world, including the legendary Luciano Pavarotti.
