AMC will not renew their 1st season show Rubicon.
The show, which averaged 1.2 million viewers per episode since it debuted on August 1, airing it’s final episode on Oct. 17.
The show starred James Badge Dale as an intelligence analyst with other actors that included: Jessica Collins, Miranda Richardson, Dallas Roberts, Christopher Evan Welch, Michael Cristofer, and Peter Gerety
AMC released the following statement:
“‘Rubicon’ gave us an opportunity to tell a rich and compelling story, and we’re proud of the series. This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a phenomenally talented and dedicated team.”
With their new show The Walking Dead reaching 5.3 million viewers on it’s opening night, it doesn’t surprise me that the network would be setting their sights higher.
