Who says women can’t be serious gamers? In this digital age, women can do anything that men can and that includes playing video games of all types. In fact, the 2014 global gaming stats revealed that women are playing more and more games. For example, women now make up 47 percent of gamers in the U.S. This figure is up from 42 percent in 2012.
There are also female celebrities who take gaming seriously. Many of them are into the multi-player role playing games such as the World of Warcraft. The others may not be so much into the MMORPG genre but still play the 2D video games such as those on clicker games.

Mila Kunis
Many know Mila Kunis only as a great actress and star of the drama film “Black Swan” which gained her worldwide accolades. When not in front of the camera, though, this lovely actress and model originally from Ukraine plays video games. And her favorite? The World of Warcraft (WoW) and Call of Duty.
Kunis says she is a good player and admits to being addicted to Wow. In fact, when she and Macaulay Culkin were still a couple, they would spend hours playing this video game. Her current favorite game, though, is Call of Duty because she says it gives her the thrill when zapping and killing her enemies.
Megan Fox
American actress and model Megan Fox is very fond of playing Mortal Kombat. She claims to being good at this game and added that it “works well with my brain.” The way my brain firers signals works well with how that game works, Fox pointed out.
Another game that got Fox addicted is Halo: Reach. She also plays this game online via her Xbox Live.
Jenny McCarthy
Jenny McCarthy started early in video gaming. At the young age of eight, she started playing Pac-Man and got an Atari as a reward for getting a vaccination shot. This former Playboy Playmate also revealed that she and ex-husband John Asher were gaming addicts. She even said that their love for gaming was the one that saved their marriage for a while.
Meanwhile, McCarthy learned to love the Wii when she was dating comedian Jim Carrey.
Gemma Atkinson
As a child, Gemma Atkinson always played with her Gameboy. In 2011, she was a presenter at the U.K. Video Game Awards during which she admitted her love to playing action-packed video games such as Tomb Raider and Call of Duty.
Atkinson is also a video game actress and has appeared in the film Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3.
