Katy Perry is finally taking a stand on her relationship with John Mayer: she’s laying down some ground rules.
Though the couple might be celebrating their reunion with some ‘Fireworks’, Katy is determined to make the relationship work this time with ol’ Dear John. Probably, she’s had enough of their on-and-off affair; they had two break-ups this year.
A source close to Katy dishes to Life & Style Magazine, “She said it will only work if he follows some of her rules.”
RULE # 1: “Getting rid of his old girlfriends’ numbers and no more texting them!”
Seriously, it’s like ‘the rules of feminism’, as Gretchen Wieners says on Mean Girls.
The insider adds, “John had tons of random girls texting him when he was with Katy before.” AHA!
RULE # 2: “Katy wants more dinners and date nights, and for him to be more romantic with her.”
Katy is still into the old-fashioned dating game, and as such, she wants to be treated like a proper lady.
Surprisingly, the ‘Paper Doll‘ singer-songwriter has been showing some progress: they shared an intimate dinner in the garden of NYC’s Greenwich Hotel (June 23), and went the night after to the Friars Foundation Annual Applause Gala.
Better keep it up, John!
