Charlie Sheen could be headed to the slammer for 30 days as part of a plea bargain for a case in Aspen, Colorado, that would otherwise have had him in probation for two years. Let’s see: 30 days in jail or 2 years probation, with the record expunged afterwards. Which would you pick? Apparently Sheen prefers the jail time, though he’s asking for 10 days, but the D.A. wants 30 days. Apparently the reasoning is that it would be too easy for Sheen to violate probation in that two years, so he could actually end up spending much longer in jail in such a situation. Hence the plea bargain.
Sheen’s life sounds pretty exciting right now, what with him being on the verge of his third divorce. He’s also trying to negotiate up to $2M per episode on the obnoxiously funny hit TV comedy Two and a Half Men. So while he’s said to have said goodbye to the show, he’ll possibly be back for up two more seasons. I mistakenly reported previously that Sheen already makes $1.3M per episode, but that’s actually about double what he currently makes. I guess he’s asking for the extra money to help out with the $125K/month that he pays out to current wife Brooke Mueller and ex-wife Denise Richards.
Whew! Too much tension. Here, enjoy a blooper reel from Two and a Half Men.
